Renegade Exploration Ltd (ASX:RNX) non-executive director Mark Wallace speaks to Proactive Investors about the gold exploration and development company’s imminent 20,000 to 25,000 metre aircore program at Yandal East in the world-class Yandal Greenstone Belt.
The company has identified nine high-priority targets along 33 kilometres of strike, with high expectations for the Coralie Jean Prospect in particular, where rock chip sampling has turned up very high grades and so the first 8,000 to 9,000 metres of drilling will be focused. Initial results are expected to flow by end June.
“We’ve got lots of ground and lots of targets and we’re really excited, and I guess we’re trying to honour the project and process of the Yandal East Project. We’re trying to do the most we can with the dollars we have, but also give us plenty of optionality that with success we can follow-up,” says Wallace.
Renegade Exploration is taking a camp-style approach to its total 70 kilometres of strike length in the area. The Yandal Greenstone Belt has been undergoing a renaissance thanks to the application of modern exploration technologies and methods, with Northern Star Resources Ltd. (ASX:NST) and Echo Resources Ltd. (ASX:EAR) having notable success to the West and South of Renegade’s tenements.
