Thred (ASX:THD) has recently completed the transition from using an outsourced development team to using a Sydney-based development team.
The transition has delivered vast benefits in terms of creativity, synergy and velocity along with lower costs.
The company launched its smartphone app called Thred in May 2017 and plans to rebrand it to the name Sweep in the coming weeks.
Thred plans to use its enterprise business, Agent Reality, to deliver near-term revenues alongside its soon to be released Sweep smartphone app.

The new Sweep app will provide its users with new technology and features such as an augmented reality (AR) experience that is coupled with geo-locked chat features.
Thred is the first and only ASX listed AR company planning to capitalise on the multi-billion-dollar augmented reality sector.
Geoff Marshall, managing director, will be presenting at the upcoming Proactive's CEO Sessions on November 14 and 15 in Sydney and Melbourne.
