Ferro-Alloy Resources Ltd (LSE:FAR) has named William Callewaert as chief financial officer with immediate effect
Callewaert is “an experienced finance professional, FCA qualified and a chartered accountant” with 20-plus years’ experience working across audit and advisory services, the company said in a statement.
He started his career at Blick Rothenberg, a tax, accounting and business advisory firm, as well having spent some time at Grant Thorton and KPMG.
Most recently, he held the position of director at BDO in Guernsey.
Callewaert will continue to be based in Guernsey and joins the board of directors of the vanadium producer, although he does not not hold any shares currently.
“We are confident he will be a very valuable addition to the Ferro-Alloy senior management team as we further develop our current vanadium processing operation, and going forward the high-grade Balasausqandiq vanadium project,” said chief executive Nick Bridgen.
“I look forward to working with Nick and his colleagues at Ferro-Alloy as we develop this globally valuable asset,” Callewaert added.
