Scotgold takes out short-term loan to cover shipping delays

Shipments of concentrate have been hit by the general geopolitical uncertainty

Scotgold Resources Limited (AIM:SGZ) has agreed on a short loan facility of £250,000 with Bridge Barn Limited, a vehicle of non-exec and major shareholder Nat Le Roux.

The Scotland-based gold miner said shipments of concentrate had been hit by the general geopolitical uncertainty.

Current production and the expected ramp-up of the output from the Cononish gold mine remain on track, the statement added.

The facility is repayable 30 days after being drawn down and carries a rate of interest of 9%.
