Mosman Oil and Gas reports successful Winters-2 well test

"I am pleased to be able to report the successful test of Winters-2,” said chairman John Barr.

Mosman Oil and Gas Ltd (AIM:MSMN) has announced the successful testing of its 23% owned Winters-2 well, in Texas.

The well was previously re-completed in the Wilcox sand, at a depth of 6,695 to 6,700 feet, and, in testing has flowed at rates between rates of 576-624 thousand cubic feet per day (mscfd) gross in an eight-hour test.

Winters-2 will now be put on production once the installation of gas infrastructure is completed, expected later in the current quarter.

The well is expected to produce 576-624 mscfd, which would be 110 to 120 barrels oil equivalent per day (boepd).

"I am pleased to be able to report the successful test of Winters-2,” said chairman John Barr.

“As highlighted in the recent production update Mosman continues to build the company's production base and we look forward to providing further updates in due course."
