Coinsilium Group Ltd (AQSE:COIN, OTCQB:CINGF), the blockchain and open finance venture builder, today said it will participate in an online event called “The Metaverse, Play to Earn & BlackBots”.
The free to attend “showcase and educational session” will provide attendees with a basic understanding of these emerging apps, it said.
Its chief executive Eddy Travia, together with Gaurang Torvekar, CEO of Indorse, a Coinsilium investment portfolio company, will attend the event, which will be hosted by StartupGrind Gibraltar on 27 January and live-streamed through the host’s platform and in the metaverse at Indorse’s virtual headquarters.
In August 2021, Indorse announced the launch of BlockBots non-fungible token (NFT) project, which contains a deflationary collection of unique NFT avatars on Ethereum’s blockchain, Coinsilium said.
A BlackBot is a 3D Voxel avatar with certain traits that can be equipped in the metaverse and in other games.
In the event, Torvekar will outline the origins of BlackBots and its roadmap to launch the ‘play to earn’ (P2E) game.
P2E is a gaming model where users are gifted with cryptos or NFTs for playing games, which normally require an initial purchase of at least one NFT.
