BAE Systems PLC (LSE:BA.) has struck a deal to buy a leading developer of advanced military simulation and training software for an undisclosed sum.
Headquartered in Orlando, Florida, Bohemia Interactive Simulations has a growing and diverse customer base, BAE said, with the US military as its largest customer.
Bohemia develops high-fidelity, cost-effective training and simulation software products and components for defence applications, according to its website, applying the latest technologies from outside the military domain to improve training capabilities.
The proposed acquisition is conditional upon receiving certain customary regulatory approvals, BAE said.
