Argo Blockchain PLC (LSE:ARB, OTCQX:ARBKF, NASDAQ:ARBK, ETR:0XP) told investors it mined a total of 167 Bitcoins (or equivalents) in the month of October, bringing the crypto mining tally to 1,646 for the year to date.
The company, in a statement, said it held 2,128 Bitcoins (or equivalents) at the end of the month – which based on today’s Bitcoin price (c.US$65,939) would be worth around US$140.3mln.
It generated £7.24mln of crypto mining revenue for the month and it said that its mining margin was around 86%. The company said that it made a mining profit of US$8.38mln for the month.
Argo noted that by the end of October it expanded its mining operation, bringing total capacity to 1.295 exahash (EH).
The company meanwhile also announced that non-executive director Colleen Sullivan has resigned to focus her efforts on other professional duties, after accepting a new career role that does not allow her to serve as a director for the company.
