Pembridge Resources PLC (LSE:PERE) has released third quarter operating results for the Minto mine in the Yukon, in which it holds a significant stake.
During the quarter the mine produced 7,127 wet metric tonnes of concentrate, up significantly on the 5,707 wet metric tonnes produced in the corresponding period of 2020.
Payments of US$21mln were received by Minto from its major customer Sumitomo during the quarter, up from the US$18.4mln received in 2020.
"We are pleased to see another strong operational performance from Minto in the third quarter and thank its new management team, whose efforts are showing in the results,” said Pembridge chief executive Gati Al-Jebouri.
“With the continuing high copper prices, the recently announced fundraise and the imminent listing of Minto, this is an exciting time to be involved in the mine."
