Mirasol Resources Ltd said detailed surface exploration has defined two drill-ready concealed porphyry copper-gold-molybdenum targets at its 100% owned Osiris copper project in Chile.
The company noted that Osiris is located within Chile’s Miocene belt, which is host to several high-profile advanced projects such as Altar, Los Azules, El Pachon and Pelambres, among others.
“We are pleased to introduce a new high-quality Cu (copper) project in our portfolio, with multiple drill targets,” Mirasol Resources president Tim Heenan said in a statement.

“Our preliminary exploration program, which included geological mapping, geochemical sampling and alteration analysis, has defined prospective targets at Osiris that require drill testing,” Heenan added.
Osiris, which comprises about 10,000 hectares of exploration claims, was staked by the company through its project generation program.
Mirasol added that it has initiated a search for an exploration partner to advance and drill test the project.
Mirasol Resources is a well-funded exploration company focused in Chile and Argentina. The company has six partner-funded projects with Newcrest Mining Ltd, First Quantum Minerals, Mine Discovery Fund, Mineria Activa, Silver Sands Resources, and Patagonia Gold. It is currently self-funding exploration at two projects, Inca Gold and Sacha Marcelina.
