Love Hemp unveils trio of senior management appointments

The CBD and hemp supplier said it has appointed a new chief operating officer, chief communications officer and chief growth officer, all of which will become effective immediately

Love Hemp Group PLC (LON:LIFE) (OTCQB:WRHLF) announced three senior management appointments, all effective immediately.

The cannabidiol (CBD) and hemp products supplier said it appointed James Martin as its chief operating officer to implement the brand’s global strategy and manage the firm’s growth strategy. Martin has 15 years’ experience driving large-scale strategic operational excellence and business transformation programmes and previously worked for a range of companies including Shell, Vodafone, GlaxoSmithKline, and PwC.

Meanwhile, Love Hemp said Anna Legge will become its chief communications officer and will manage all external stakeholder engagement including investor relations, corporate media communications and environmental, social and governance reporting. Legge previously served as director of communications of SolGold PLC (LON:SOLG) and has also worked at a large international communications agency advising companies such as Mulberry, Centrica, Bunnings and UP Global Sourcing.

The final appointment is Martin Healy as chief growth officer, who will drive Love Hemp’s international growth and commercial relationships and allow chief commercial officer Adam Pritchard to focus on expanding the group’s UK market presence. Healy was previously head of advertising, sales and partnerships at The Walt Disney Group and also worked as commercial director for ESPN in the Middle East.
