Lithium Australia NL (ASX:LIT) (OTCMKTS:LMMFF) (FRA:3MW) has raised another $484,132.84 after its shareholders fully paid the balance on a further 9,702,061 LITCF partly paid ordinary shares in the company, the latest in a series of similar transactions since mid-December 2020.
The shareholders paid $0.0499 for each LITCF and the 9,702,061 LITCF shares have now become fully paid ordinary shares with a further 93,501,306 LITCF remaining on issue.
A statement will be issued shortly to shareholders who paid all outstanding amounts on their LITCFs.
Lithium Australia has requested that the ASX change the designation of the 9,702,061 shares to the ASX code 'LIT'.
Previous payments
Earlier this week, Lithium Australia said shareholders had paid the balance of A$340,850 for a total of more than 6.83 million LITCF partly paid ordinary shares in the company,
Recently, shareholders fully paid the balance on 3.877 million LITCF shares at the same price for a total consideration of $193,462.
On December 14 and 15 shareholders fully paid the balance unpaid on 9.75 million LITCF partly paid ordinary shares for a total consideration of $486,525.
Also in December, shareholders fully paid the balance on 3.877 million LITCF shares at the same price for a total consideration of $193,462.
2020 tax refund payments
Also in December, the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) processed refund payments totalling $1.23 million, of which $160,000 remains outstanding, but is expected to be received shortly.
This payment pertains to company’s refundable R&D tax offset claim for the financial year ended June 30, 2020.
