YPB Group Ltd (ASX:YPB) has lodged an invention patent application with China’s patent authority (SIPO) for its disinfectant tracing solution.
The invention patent was accepted by SIPO on December 31, 2020
This invention belongs to the field of sterilisation, in particular to a disinfectant with an indicative tracer function and its application.
Unique disinfection tracing
The invention adds a luminescent tracer to the disinfectant, first, by colour-showing to determine whether an area has been disinfected, and secondly, by further luminescence testing, to confirm whether the environmental surface has been disinfected, disinfection time and whether re-sterilisation is required.
This invention is universal in nature and when combined with conventionally used disinfection solutions, can quickly determine whether daily disinfection is in place, disinfection time and the need for any re-sterilization.
QR code advantage
The invention is just one of the company’s products which could help governments control COVID-19 outbreaks and help keep communities safe.
YPB has the leading QR code platform in Australia, and while originally built for marketing purposes, the CONNECT Platform and enhanced CONNECT 2 capabilities can support QR code functionality and contact tracing.
