Exploration is centred on the highly prospective and significantly underexplored Gawler Craton, near the Challenger gold mine.
Ltd () has intersected 4 metres at 25 g/t gold from 52 metres from drilling at its Aurora Tank Project in South Australia.
This is now the third outstanding intersection that has obtained along the NW flank with:
- the first located at the South end - 5 metres at 27 g/t from 38 metres; and
- the second towards the North end - 3 metres at 29 g/t from 63 metres.
Importantly, the three intersections span about 100 metres confirming the continuity of high-grade intersections along the NW flank.
Expanding the program
Marmota has expanded the drilling program from about 7500 metres to over 11000 metres with extra holes added at a number of locations including the NW flank and eastern extensions.
Drilling is expected to be completed next week after which the company will receive the full set of assay results from the program.
