NexTech AR's InfernoAR virtual events platform chosen for international metals conference

The deal is worth $40,000 to NexTech, with the potential for added revenue from its newly launched ScreenAR software

NexTech AR Solutions Corp (CSE:NTAR) (OTCQB:NEXCF) announced Monday that the International Committee for Study of Bauxite, Alumina & Aluminium (ICSOBA) has chosen the company’s InfernoAR video conferencing platform to connect its annual virtual event in November.

The deal is worth $40,000 to NexTech, with the potential for added revenue from its newly launched ScreenAR software. ScreenAR allows augmented reality experiences to “pop” off the computer or TV screen, creating a one-of-a-kind immersive experience to keep people engaged in virtual classrooms, trade shows and other events.

ScreenAR has an initial launch price of $9,999, and upselling the software at events even as small as 100 booths is a potential source of substantial revenue, the company said.

“I'm honoured that the International Committee for Study of Bauxite, Alumina and Aluminium has chosen InfernoAR to host their 38th annual International Conference bringing together their global audience in an exciting new format,” Senior VP of Sales Pete Dunn said in a statement.

ICSOBA’s chairman put NexTech in touch with the Aluminium Research Centre-REGAL, a network of researchers that has decided to also host an upcoming virtual event with InfernoAR, Dunn said.

“In all my 21 years experience in high-level sales, I have never seen anything like the demand I am currently witnessing for our virtual event solutions, even as some countries are slowly opening up events — the future [of events] is truly hybrid, and to call the daily enquiries and lead flow insatiable is not doing it justice.”

The InfernoAR platform is capable of hosting large-scale events of up to 1 million people with virtual lobbies, live presentations and custom holographic product displays.

“We believe that having such a prestigious international organization as ICSOBA choose us over the competition validates our platform as one of the leading video conference virtual events platforms not just in North America but globally,” NexTech CEO Evan Gappelberg added.

“InfernoAR is being chosen by more and more customers because of its full spectrum of offerings including end to end security encryption, interactive video, artificial intelligence and augmented reality all in one super-secure platform.”

Gappelberg believes ScreenAR will drive massive adoption of its InfernoAR software and boost revenue.

“With video being the new voice during this ‘virtual gold rush’ we will continue to push more interactive and immersive video-centric features such as ScreenAR which we see as a industry game changing innovation creating long term value and sustainability for our business,” he said.
