Hobson is a chartered accountant and chartered secretary with extensive experience as company secretary of ASX-listed companies.
He has specialised in acting as company secretary for several ASX-listed companies for 15 years, including African exploration companies, and brings a wealth of governance knowledge and capability to PDI.
The company thanks Moore and Waddell for their service to the company in the joint role over recent years.
Predictive is undergoing substantial change resulting from the Kaninko gold discovery in Guinea, increased market recognition and the recently announced $9 million capital raising.
As a result, the company has decided to divide the company secretary and chief financial officer roles, with Waddell continuing in an expanded CFO role.
Hobson’s background as a chartered accountant is also expected to strengthen PDI’s financial team.
Drilling doubles strike length
In late May the company confirmed encouraging assays from new power auger drilling undertaken along strike of the previously outlined gold trend at NE Bankan within the Kaninko Project in Guinea.
Results from 124 shallow power auger holes for 2,423 metres have doubled the strike of the gold anomaly at NE Bankan to 1-kilometre.
Notably, a possible new high-grade gold zone was identified on the northern-most line drilled to date.
