Coinciding with Homsany’s appointment is the retirement of Loren King as a non-executive director, although she will continue her position as Brookside’s company secretary.
Experienced corporate lawyer
Homsany is an experienced corporate lawyer and certificated practising accountant with experience in the resources and energy sectors.
King has been a director of Brookside since its re-capitalisation in 2015 when she made a major contribution to the corporate management of the business during her time as a director.
The company said it was delighted to have retained King’s skills and experience in the important role of company secretary.
In January 2020 Brookside chairman Michael Fry purchased 1.5 million shares through on-market trades.
The $10,500 purchase increased his overall holding in the company to 5.5 million shares.
Brookside is focused on developing and monetising its oil & gas assets in the world-class Anadarko Basin in Oklahoma.
