Anson Resources Ltd (ASX:ASN) has been granted a trading halt by the ASX pending the release of further information regarding a capital raising.

Shares in the company will remain halted until the earlier of either the release of the relevant information, or, the commencement of trading on Thursday 9 January 2020.

Advancing the Paradox Brine Project

Anson has been busy at its flagship Paradox Project completing a resource upgrade in November 2019 and producing a bulk sample of battery-grade lithium carbonate in December 2019.

The company also completed stage two bromine extraction test work from brine samples taken from Paradox in December 2019.

Anson plans to commence a preliminary economic assessment (PEA) during the current March quarter 2020.
