Electrical components specialist Solid State PLC (LON:SOLI) posted record half-year numbers but indicated the second half will be harder going.
Helped by the first contribution from acquisition Pacer, group revenue rose 43% to £33.6m with contracts being brought forward helping organic growth in the manufacturing division.
Like for like revenue rose 11%.
Currency movements also worked in the group’s favour, which helped margins and lifted profits 77% to £2.33mln.
Prospects for the remainder of the financial year are underpinned by the order book of £37.8mln but visibility is shortening due the uncertain backdrop said the group, while the results this year will be first-half weighted to the currency boost.
The interim dividend was bumped up 25% to 5.25p.
