() expects to receive official confirmation of the grant of licences for its mineral assets in Kenya soon.
The company said that an online register of ownership has been updated to indicate official approval of the granting of the licences by the Mining Rights Board, and it now expects to be invited in the near future to pay the licence fee and fulfil the registration requirements.
The grant of the licences remains subject to the approval of the Cabinet Secretary and a further announcement will be made as and when the licences are confirmed.
