Avation PLC - Avation delivers new aircraft to South Asian client

Avation PLC (LON:AVAP) has delivered a new ATR 72-600 aircraft to its client, a South Asian airline.

The aircraft leasing firm said the plane had been delivered at the manufacturer's facility in Toulouse, France, and was on a financial lease to the airline for six years.

"We are very pleased to complete this transaction out of our existing ATR order-book”, said Jeff Chatfield, Avation’s executive chairman.

The delivery takes the company’s total fleet to 48 aircraft.

In mid-morning trading on Wednesday, Avation's shares were down 0.3% at 284.3p.
