Scotty Group, (AIM : SCO) today confirmed an additional order from the US military of some $400,000, which is in addition to the $500,000 US military contracts announced on 23rd July 2007.
The orders comprise SCOTTY Mobile and ProMax units, together with customised Secure Mobile Video communications systems, packaged in ruggedised cases, based on SCOTTY ProMax units and integrated with a SCOTTY Mobile Secure Link.
The equipment is adapted for particularly demanding transport conditions.
SCOTTY's Chief Executive Officer, Kurt Kerschat, was quoted as saying 'These orders for the US military demonstrate the continuing progress in sales of our ground-based satellite communications products, which involve a significant level of integration of SCOTTY technology, fully adapted to our customers' wishes. Our North American operations are demonstrating an increasing momentum in this type of project business with a high level of customisation.'
Scotty, known formerly as Motion Media, are finally announcing the orders that their loyal band of holders have waited patiently for over a number of years, during which the share price has fallen some 99%.
