Central China Goldfields plc (AIM: GGG) has conducted an Induced Polarisation/Resistivity survey at the Dong Mao Huo Gold Project area in Inner Mongolia. The survey shows several new anomalies that are larger than the known area of mineralisation.
Jeff Malaihollo, MD of Central China Goldfields, said:
"We have decided to run an Induced Polarisation/Resistivity (IP/RES) survey ahead of the drilling programme to guide us where to locate our drill holes. IP responses potentially indicate sulphide mineralisation at the subsurface. Generally, gold and other precious metals are commonly associated with the sulphides. RES responses may assist in finding faults or permeable or resistive rocks associated with the mineralisation.
