Chariot Oil & Gas (LON:CHAR) has kicked off a 2D seismic exploration programme offshore Namibia.
The new survey will span 1,700 kilometres of Central Blocks 2312 and 2412A, and it is a precursor for a 3D programme later in the current exploration period.
It is designed to give the company, and its partners, a better understanding of ‘regional prospectivity’, Chariot said.
The 2D programme is expected to take two weeks to complete.
