Peel Hunt targets growth at reasonable prices with 2014 stock picks

Growth at reasonable prices is the investment policy that has guided City broker Peel Hunt, which unveiled its top stocks.

In all it has chosen 14 share picks for 2014, including the online retailer ASOS (LON:ASC), new FTSE 100 constituent Ashtead (LON:AHT) and builder Redrow (LON:RDW).

“In our selection of growth stocks we have prioritised companies that have delivered, and are forecast to continue delivering, consistent and above-average growth in sales and earnings per share,” analyst Ian Williams said in a note to clients.

“We prefer stocks where that growth is currently available at a reasonable price.”
