LED technology company Dialight plc disappointed investors today with a trading update ahead of full year results for the period ending 31st December 2006.
The company stated that despite the Components and Signals/Illumination segments of the business showing growth, and a good order book in European Traffic and Lighting, the company has suffered from defferals on a number of US traffic contracts in December. Dialight reaffirmed that is expected a number of these contracts to be completed in early 2007.
The shares dropped 12% to 231.5p on the news.
