Ferrexpo PLC (LSE: FXPO) issued a production report for May 2009, showing production of iron ore rose 4.4 percent from April, to 2.56 million tonnes from 2.45 million, and was up 6 percent from the 2.42 million tonnes produced in May 2008.
Pellet production in May 2009 totaled 755,100 tonnes, up 1.3 percent from the April output of 745,100 tonnes and 0.8 percent lower year-on-year from 761,200 tonnes.
