Ian Price, chief executive of EQTEC Plc (LON:EQT), discusses the signing this morning of a conditional Memorandum of Understanding along with its strategic partner to jointly develop the Billingham Energy waste gasification and power plant.
Price says the project's anticipated to process 200,000 metric tons per annum of refuse derived fuel from municipal waste.
EQTEC will act as lead developer and technology provider for the Project
