archTIS Ltd (ASX:AR9) has had its contract with the Australian federal government’s Department of Home Affairs extended for 12 months delivering an additional $250,000 revenue.
Under the contract, archTIS provides consulting and IT strategic advisory services as well as other professional services.
archTIS continues to focus on driving new commercial opportunities for its software-as-a-service (SaaS) secure content and collaboration platform, Kojensi Gov.
The focus remains on transitioning from a consulting services to product-based business, and is confident in its ability to identify new business prospects for Kojensi Gov in the December half.
archTIS’s CEO Daniel Lai said: “archTIS remains firmly committed to exploring all opportunities to further our collaboration with important strategic partners like the Department of Home Affairs in the public sector.
“The agreement is recognition of archTIS’ exceptional professional standing within the Australian Commonwealth Government and underlines the fact we have a longstanding history of collaboration with governmental agencies.”
“While our focus on commercialising our SaaS product suite remains our number one priority as we continue to transition towards a product-based business, we welcome the opportunity to further our existing consulting relationship with the Department of Home Affairs through our work with their Technology and Major Capability Group.
“As the company scales down its focus on consulting revenues as the basis for our strategic business growth, the agreement today is a significant validation of the quality in industry expertise and experience underpinning the archTIS team and demonstrates our professional consulting services and IT strategic advisory capabilities are still valued.”
