Alliance Mineral Assets Limited (ASX:A40) (SGX:40F) has appointed Beverley Nichols as joint company secretary a role in which she will serve alongside Alexei Fedotov.
Nichols is a governance professional with experience in a broad range of ASX listed companies, predominantly in the resources sector.
The board wishes to take this opportunity to welcome Nichols to the company.
In June the company obtained quarterly records for lithium production and shipping totals from its Bald Hill Lithium and Tantalum Mine in Western Australia.
During the March quarter lithium production was 68% higher than the previous quarter with 38,291 wet metric tonnes (wmt) of high-grade spodumene concentrate produced grading 6.1% lithium oxide.
Hartleys has maintained its speculative buy recommendation on Alliance given the strong quarterly production.
In May new shares related to its recent placements were to be be listed on the Catalist Board of the Singapore Exchange (SGX-ST).
The new shares were to be issued to Galaxy Resources Ltd (ASX:GXY) and a subsidiary of China-based Jiangxi Special Electric Motor Co (Jiangte).
The institutional placement with Galaxy will comprise the issue of 112.5 million shares whereas Jiangte will receive 50 million through a conditional placement.
Both placements were not underwritten and were managed and arrangement by Canaccord Genuity who were to be issued 6.125 million shares as placement fee.
