SenSen Networks Ltd (ASX:SNS) has secured a three year deal to supply its fully automated parking enforcement solution to Cairns Regional Council.
The contract commences in early June 2019 and covers council’s purchase of a SenFORCE mobile parking enforcement unit, with upfront revenue for the systems.
It also covers software and commissioning, and fees for the year one software licence and maintenance services.

A parking officer will drive a vehicle outfitted with the SenFORCE system with all zones and parking rules (time and permit based) preloaded.
It is mounted on roof racks capable being switched from one vehicle to other in less than 10 minutes.

Cairns Regional Council parking inspectors will utilise SenFORCE in the CBD area to assist in managing the city’s parking congestion problem.
The council has recently made changes to parking throughout the CBD to ensure the right balance between visitors to the city and businesses by providing a greater turnover of spaces.
