Legend Mining Limited (ASX:LEG) has begun an Induced Polarisation survey (IP) at Rockford Nickel-Copper Project in WA's Fraser Range with results to be integrated with those from a moving loop electromagnetic (MLTEM) survey to prioritise diamond drill hole locations.
The joint venture project is run in partnership with legendary prospector Mark Creasy’s the Creasy Group Pty Ltd, which has a 30% stake with Legend holding the remainder.

Results from infill aircore drilling at Rockford South, which began last month, will be used to plan future activities.
A planned reverse circulation drill hole at Shackleton 1 conductor will assist in this process.
3D IP survey
The 3D IP survey over MLTEM conductors at Area D began on April 2, 2019, and comprises five lines (23.6 kilometres) of double offset pole-dipole 3D IP covering an area of about 20 square kilometres.
Data from this work will be integrated with MLTEM data to assist with the geographical interpretation and final modelling of the individual conductors.
Based on this interpretation, the 14 MLTEM conductors will be prioritised and ranked in conjunction with results from the aircore program to assist in final diamond drill hole design.
