The assistive hearing technology will become the flagship product of Nuheara’s IQbuds range and is the most advanced and powerful product the company has created.
Nuheara chief executive officer Justin Miller said IQbuds BOOST was a game changer in providing the first audiology experience in a box.
Miller said: “We are thrilled to take this innovation to the next level with IQbuds MAX by offering what we believe is the most technologically advanced assistive hearting product to ever hit the market.”
Unlocking global hearing healthcare channel
IQbuds MAX will build on all features currently available with the BOOST product, with triple the hearing capability, five times the processing power and a world-first hybrid active noise cancellation system.
Last year the BOOST product was selected by the UK’s National Health Service to be prescribed alongside traditional hearing aids.
Miller continued: “2018 was an incredibly year in demonstrating how Nuheara unlocked the hearing healthcare channel globally.
“Finishing 2018 with the National Health Service (NHS) contract and emerging Specsavers partnership, we are ready to build further on those strong foundations by continuing to lead the way in global hearing innovation.”
Growing recognition of products
With the MAX product expected to be available in the second half of 2019, Nuheara anticipates a growing recognition by government health providers that affordable and accessible hearing solutions should be more readily available.
Both hearing products have clinically-validated hearing self-assessment and a self-configuration process utilising hearing aid prescription formulas, exemplifying how new technology is driving down costs.
Nuheara also recently launched IQstream TV, an innovative adapter for TV watching that delivers crystal-clear sound to both BOOST and MAX hearing buds.
Users can adjust their volume independently and balance the level of the TV with other sounds in the room, so they can participate in conversations while catching every word on the TV.
