Drilling extends Shoot 5 high-grade gold
14 reverse circulation (RC) holes for 1890 metres were drilled to extend gold mineralisation at Shoots 4, 5 and 5E.
This drilling returned a best result of 20 metres at 12.44 g/t gold from 104 metres associated with Shoot 5.
Importantly, this result is significant because it is down dip of 8 metres at 12.6 g/t gold from 93 metres and correlates with the intersection of 7 metres at 21.2 g/t gold from 125 metres that is located 25 metres to the north.

Also, this shoot appears to be sub-horizontal and is untested by drilling to the south and may project at least 50 metres to the north.
This high-grade gold shoot is sufficiently close to the existing Shoot 4/5 mineral resource estimate open pit shell that it may be amenable to either open pit or underground mining techniques.
It is worth noting that the 1,200 square kilometre Wilcherry project has a 1.097 million tonne resource at 5.1 g/t gold containing 181,000 ounces of gold.
A 31-hole RC drill program, totalling 4,650 metres, is planned to commence at Weednanna during December with the objective of:
• Resource definition drilling in the eastern optimised pit area to increase the confidence level of that part of the mineral resource from inferred to indicated classification;
• Identifying new near-pit mineralisation that is amenable to either open pit or underground mining techniques;
• Provide adequate drilling information to develop a mine plan to efficiently transition from open pit mining of the eastern pit to underground mining; and
• Providing samples for the next stage of metallurgical test work.
The new drilling program is the first step of systematic exploration to achieve the above objectives and will likely be followed by further infill and extensional drilling in early 2019.
