Renegade has moved the drill rig on to the Mizina/Ward prospects where a further 14,800 metres of drilling is planned.
Results from the Coralie Jean drilling program are expected by the end of July 2018.
Renegade's project is around 40 kilometres to the north of Northern Star Resources’ (ASX:NSR) 10 million gold ounce Jundee project.
The company is taking a camp-style approach to its total 70 kilometres of strike length in the area.
The Yandal Greenstone Belt has been undergoing a renaissance thanks to the application of modern exploration technologies and methods, with Northern Star and Echo Resources (ASX:EAR) having notable success to the West and South of Renegade’s tenements.
Other gold projects in the region include Blackham Resources Ltd’s (ASX:BLK) Matilda-Wiluna, Echo Resources Limited’s (ASX:EAR) Bronzewing and Saracen Mineral Holdings Limited’s (ASX:SAR) Thunderbox.
