Learning Technologies trades in-line with expectations as it completes PeopleFluent acquisition

Learning Technologies Group PLC (LON:LTG) said it is currently trading in-line with expectations as it completed its acquisition of US digital human resources group PeopleFluent.

The AIM-listed e-learning services and technology provider said the transaction had been completed on May 31 and that it would update shareholders on the integration process in its interim results in September.

The group acquired PeopleFluent in April for US$150mln, partly funded through a share placing which raised £85mln and marked the company’s first significant move into the US market.

At the time, Learning Technologies chairman Andrew Brode said: “I am excited by the potential of an enlarged LTG, incorporating PeopleFluent - we will now be a business with estimated £135m revenue and a strong platform for future growth. This is a transformational moment for LTG.”

In mid-afternoon trading Friday, Learning Technologies shares were up 0.92% at 109.5p.
