88 Energy Ltd (LON:88E) confirmed it is on-track to restart well testing operations at the Icewine-2 well site by June 11.

The company, in a statement, told investors that site clearance work had now been completed, meanwhile, pressure build up analysis is presently underway ahead of the tests.

It noted that pressure measurements at the wellhead are positive in regards to maintenance of downhole pressure, as expected.

Planned well operations are being designed to remove an additional 4,000 barrels of fluid from the HRZ reservoir, using nitrogen lift. The company expects this will allow hydrocarbons to flow naturally from the shale to surface.

88 Energy said it expects the process to take between ten and 14 days to complete.
