Velpic is the exclusive reseller of NowForce, known as Velpic Safety, in Australia and New Zealand.

Velpic Ltd (ASX:VPC) has secured its first client under its reseller agreement related to the NowForce platform in Threat Protect (ASX:TPS).

Velpic is the sole distributor of NowForce’s products into the US$8.8 billion Australia and New Zealand security sector thanks to a recent partnership.

The partnership means Velpic owns 5% of NowForce and is the exclusive reseller of NowForce in Australia and New Zealand, known as Velpic Safety.

The NowForce platform consists of three integrated public safety apps.

The safety apps are for campus security, private security, and public safety organisations, enabling reduced response times, full situational awareness, and enhanced communications.

Velpic recently secured $3..2 million in funding to fund the NowForce investment and penetrate the Australia and New Zealand markets.

Velpic’s CEO Russell Francis said: “I’m very pleased to have progressed so quickly with the NowForce partnership and to sign up our first client, Threat Protect.

“We are excited by the opportunities we see for growing the business, and we are working closely with NowForce to integrate our platforms to enable NowForce to sell Velpic LMS to its clients and potential clients around the world.”

Integration of the Velpic and NowForce platforms

As per the deal, Velpic combines its online learning platform with NowForce to provide a first-mover solution to new and existing clients of both platforms.

The integration of the two platforms is well underway with phase I expected to be completed in the June 2018 quarter.

This will immediately enable Israeli-based NowForce to begin to market and sell Velpic’s learning management system, white labelled as a NowForce module, to its existing and future clients internationally.
