Savannah Resources PLC (LON:SAV) has strengthened its lithium management team ahead of the development of the Mina do Barroso project in Portugal.
Martin Steinbild has been appointed director, lithium business development, a newly created, non-board appointment to provide strategic, commercial and technological insights.

A chemical engineer with 25 years' experience, Steinbild had been a senior manager with Rockwood Lithium since 2008.
David Archer, Savannah's chief executive said he brings a wealth of experience in the lithium industry, which will be extremely valuable as it develops Mina do Barroso.
“In his role, Martin will focus on helping Savannah introduce Mina do Barroso to the international lithium industry, as we look to commercialise our project."
