Data intelligence provider, Invigor Group's (ASX:IVO) securing of a new contract with the manager of three malls in Singapore has boosted its presence in the Asian region.
The operator is Mercatus Co-operative Limited, and it is involved in the management of the AMK Hub, Jurong Point and Thomson Plaza shopping malls.
Mercatus will deploy Invigor’s loyalty software which includes several customer engagement and data insights modules, assisting users in understanding customer behaviour.
By using information gleaned from the software, retailers can apply data analytics to assist in driving marketing and sales strategies.
Insight solutions can potentially assist in driving sales and profit margins
The technology is already in place in more than 25 malls and retail precincts across Australia and Asia with this contract strengthening Invigor’s position in the Asian region.
As bricks and mortar retailers face margin pressure from e-commerce activity, Invigor's technology provides data that can increase efficiencies, drive sales and improve profit margins.
Management indicated that there was a likelihood of further contracts being negotiated in the short-term, potentially sustaining current momentum.
