RISERS

Ooma Inc (NYSE:OOMA), up 16% at US$9.10

Telecoms outfit Ooma after it claimed to have enjoyed “industry leading growth” in its core segments of small business and residential. Revenue grew 11% to US$28.2mln from a year earlier.

Pure Storage (NYSE:PSTG), up 13% at US$14.15

The data storage specialist raised full-year fiscal 2018 revenue guidance to between US$985 million and US$1.025 billion and non-GAAP operating margin guidance to between -7% and -3%. The company also revealed Charles Giancarlo would take over from Scott Diezen as chief executive officer. Dietzen is to become chairman.

FALLERS

Tahoe Resources Inc (NYSE:TAHO), down 19% at US$4.40

The shares tanked on unconfirmed reports that the Guatemalan Constitutional Court issued a decision upholding the lower court's preliminary decision to provisionally suspend the mining license of Tahoe's Guatemalan subsidiary, Minera San Rafael.

GameStop Corp (NYSE:GME), down 11% at US$19.32

The video games and hardware seller posted a 47% year-on-year decline in second quarter profits. Net income of US$14.9mln was equivalent to 15 cents a share, and was down from US$27.9mln (27 cents a share) a year earlier. The consensus forecast for earnings per share (EPS) was 16 cents.
