Jubilee Platinum results reveal Dilokong progress
The company's chrome project is making progress.

The momentum is behind the Jubilee Platinum’s (LON:JLP) Dilokong chrome mine tailings project in South Africa (DCM).

Its earnings at the year-end for the operation were £744,000 and have increased to £2.3mln in the three months to September.

The update was provided in annual results for the business, which has also secured funding for the construction of the Hernic Tailings Project (South Africa).

The plan is to build a 660,000-ton a year platinum and chromite processing plant.

In the 12 months ended June Jubilee posted revenues of just under £1.5mln and an operating loss of £3.8mln.

It is sitting on £4.4mln of cash following the sale of the Middelburg smelting operation.
