Elixir Petroleum , the oil and gas exploration and production company focused on the Gulf of Mexico and UK North Sea, said it had been informed that production from the Pompano Gas Project would likely commence in the next week.

Elixir has a 25% working interest in the project, subject to a 5.5% claw back with the operator, AnaTexas Offshore.
