Renaissance Uranium (ASX: RNU) has identified a major chargeability zone indicating extensive sulphide mineralisation at its 1050 East prospect within the Olympic Damn iron-copper-gold-uranium belt, South Australia.
An induced polarisation survey outlined the zone immediately east of the copper-cobalt-silver mineralisation
intersected in Renaissance’s recently completed drilling program at the prospect.
The sulphide zone appears to thicken at depth, and remains open to the north.
Notably, continued sulphide mineralisation coincident with the Angle Dam Fault is suggested, 600 metres from the 1050 East prospect area.
A diamond core drill program is planned later this year to test strike potential.
