Business to Business gaming software developer GameAccount Network has been on a roll since announcing a partnership last week with a major casino operator in the south-west of the USA.
Full-year results, therefore, may be less about the rear-view mirror and more about the prospects of more such landmark deals.
The median forecast among analysts that follow the stock is for a pre-tax loss of £5.0mln on reduced revenue of £5.85mln.
House builders have fallen out of favour of late but Numis Securities is expecting Taylor Wimpey to issue a robust trading statement on Thursday.
“We think the bulk of questioning will be on its recent performance in the London housing market, given widespread reports of a slowdown in volumes and prices at the upper price points,” said Numis's Chris Millington.
He thinks Taylor Wimpey has been oversold, in keeping with the wider sector.
“With a forecast yield of 8% for 2017, we think the market is forecasting that market conditions will deteriorate materially. We think the likelihood of this happening against a backdrop of Help to Buy, low interest rates and low levels of stock is low and therefore we think the recent sector sell-off is a good buying opportunity,” he said.
Significant announcements expected
