Controversial online retailer Amazon (NASDAQ:AMZN) has announced a new multi-year hook-up with broadcaster CBS (NYSE:CBS).
Amazon's Prime Video streaming service will have exclusive rights to offer digital streaming of three new CBS summer series through to the end of 2018.
The first series included in the deal will be BrainDead which will be available on Amazon Prime four days after it is broadcast on CBS's network.
Starring Mary Elizabeth Winstead, who starred as Abraham Lincoln's wife in the film 'Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter', the comedy thriller has been described as 'The Strain' meets 'The West Wing', in which members of Congress get their brains - those who have them - eaten by invading aliens.
This deal will also extend and expand CBS and SHOWTIME titles available to Prime members.
