The platform will be used to provide greater visibility across Ocean Power Technologies’ operations, including manufacturing, supply chain management, deployment, fleet operations, maintenance and customer support.

Broadcom Inc (NASDAQ:AVGO, XETRA:1YD) shares fell 3.3% Thursday afternoon despite the company issuing a bullish long-term forecast for its artificial intelligence business, projecting AI revenue of $230 billion in fiscal 2028.

The company also raised its fiscal 2027 AI revenue outlook to $115 billion, up from a prior guide of more than $100 billion, and expressed confidence in earnings per share of $30 or more for that year.

Sintana Energy Inc (TSX-V:SEI, OTCQB:SEUSF, FRA:3ZX1, AIM:SEI) said Thursday that TotalEnergies has completed its acquisition of a 40% operated interest in Petroleum Exploration Licence 83 (PEL 83) in Namibia's Orange Basin, home to the Mopane discoveries, in which Sintana holds an indirect stake.

PEL 83 is now held by TotalEnergies as operator with 40%, Galp with 40%, NAMCOR with 10%, and Custos Energy (Pty) Ltd. with 10%.

Meta Platforms Inc (NASDAQ:META, XETRA:FB2A, SIX:FB) shares climbed more than 4% on Thursday after the company unveiled an upgraded version of its flagship AI model, which its AI chief says now matches offerings from Anthropic and OpenAI.

The new model, Muse Spark 1.3, marks Meta's "biggest jump so far on model performance," according to Alexandr Wang, the company's AI chief.

Campbell Soup Company (NYSE:CPB) reported a sharp drop in fourth-quarter profitability and slashed its quarterly dividend by 36% to $0.25 per share, as the packaged food company moves to accelerate debt reduction and shore up its balance sheet.

Adjusted earnings per share fell to $0.39 from $0.62 a year earlier, a 37% decline. Revenue came in at $2.14 billion, down 8% year-over-year, while organic sales slipped 1%.
