Tetragon Energy Ltd (ASX:TET) has started trading on the ASX after completing a $4 million IPO, with the newly listed company moving immediately to advance its Philippines oil and gas portfolio.

The Perth-based energy company raised the funds at 20 cents per share, giving it a market capitalisation of $8 million at the listing price. The IPO comprised 20 million new fully paid ordinary shares, alongside an in-specie distribution of 19,700,408 shares to Triangle Energy shareholders, resulting in 39,700,408 shares on issue.

In a good day for IPOs, FDC Consolidated Holdings Limited (ASX:FDC) has also started trading on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX), marking a major milestone for the Australian construction and fitout group after 36 years in business.

The company listed under the ticker code FDC with a market capitalisation of $969 million at the IPO offer price of $3.00 per share, after raising $400 million through its initial public offering. Existing shareholders retained about 60% of the business following the listing.

Pilbara Gold Ltd (ASX:PGL) has kicked off a major reverse circulation drilling program at its Roe Hills Gold Project near Kalgoorlie, targeting a 1.8-kilometre bedrock gold corridor that has not seen exploration at the Terra and Caliburn prospects for eight years.

The company has begun up to 12,000 metres of RC drilling across the two prospects, with most of the program focused on Terra and 1,600 metres earmarked for Caliburn. Drilling is expected to take around 2.5 months and be completed this quarter.

The disruption, which hit on Wednesday, affected mobile calls and data across the country, leaving some users unable to connect, businesses unable to process payments and regional train networks without reliable communications. Telstra said the issue was caused by a software defect affecting specialised network nodes used for time synchronisation, with no evidence of malicious activity.
