Rocket Pharmaceuticals (NASDAQ:RCKT) announced that the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has granted accelerated approval for KRESLADI (marnetegragene autotemcel), the company’s gene therapy for children with severe leukocyte adhesion deficiency-I (LAD-I) caused by biallelic variants in ITGB2.

The therapy is intended for patients without an available human leukocyte antigen-matched sibling donor for allogeneic stem cell transplant.

Carnival Corp (NYSE:CCL) reported a strong start to 2026 with record first-quarter revenue and raised its full-year outlook, as demand and higher pricing helped offset rising fuel costs.

The cruise operator posted diluted earnings per share of $0.19 and adjusted EPS of $0.20 for the quarter, up 50% from a year earlier. Revenue rose to a record $6.2 billion, driven by strong close-in demand and higher ticket prices.

Shares of Unity Software Inc (NYSE:U) rose about 17% at the open on Friday after the videogame software company reported preliminary first-quarter results that topped its own forecasts and signaled further strategic changes to streamline its business.

Unity said it expects first-quarter revenue of $505 million to $508 million, above its prior guidance of $480 million to $490 million. Adjusted EBITDA is projected at $130 million to $135 million, exceeding the company’s outlook of $105 million to $110 million.

80 Mile PLC (AIM:80M, OTCQB:BLLYF) shares climbed, rising around 10% to 1.23p, as the helium firm's Jameson project saw an implied valuation of some $148 million, as partner Greenland Energy Company began trading on NASDAQ (under the ticker GLND).

GLND ended its debut day, Thursday 26 March, with a market capitalisation of US$345 million.

Hargreaves Services Plc (AIM:HSP, OTC:HGRVF) the AIM-listed environmental services group, saw its shares jump 8% after it launched a tender offer to return up to £20 million to shareholders at 850 pence per share, a premium of 16% to Thursday's closing price of 730 pence.

The offer has been increased from the £15 million figure flagged in the company's interim results in January, when the 850 pence price also represents a premium of 26.9% to the 670 pence closing price on the day before that announcement.

AstraZeneca PLC (LSE:AZN, NASDAQ:AZN) shares rose 3% to 14,230p, placing the drugmaker at the top of the FTSE 100 leaderboard on a subdued Friday session, after its experimental COPD treatment tozorakimab succeeded in two late-stage clinical trials.

The results mark the first positive phase III readout from a programme of more than 20 major data releases AstraZeneca expects to deliver in 2026, each adding weight to the company's ambition to reach $80 billion in annual revenue by 2030.
