Synectics shares drop as investors eye order book

Synectics (AIM:SNX) shares traded lower, losing more than 18%, on Wednesday morning after the company published a full-year trading update for the year ended 30 November 2025.

The update highlighted strong FY25 results but also pointed to a change in revenue mix in the year ahead.

The security and surveillance technology group said FY25 revenue is expected to be approximately £68 million, with earnings (adjusted EBITDA) of £8.5 million and adjusted profit before tax of no less than £6 million. This includes delivery of a significant, non-recurring gaming contract in South-East Asia, which contributed around £12 million of revenue.

Looking ahead, the company noted that its FY26 outlook reflects the one-off nature of the gaming contract. The firm's order book stood at £26.5 million at year end, down from £38.5 million a year earlier.

In London, the share was down 18.6% changing hands at 236p.
